Does anyone know where to find raid drivers that I would load from floppy durring install process of Windows Vista? The motherboard is an Asus A8v deluxe and the Raid drives are on the FastTrak 378. Also there's the sil raid, but my drives aren't on that. I looked at asus web site and they don't have anything for vista for any of their products. I even went to promise web site too and didn't find anything for fastrak 378 in anyform, like it didn't even exist.
I also would love Asus A8n sli deluxe raid drivers too. Not the nforce4 but the sil one.
Thanks guys.

Well thanks for the address, but as I've already said there's nothing regarding vista at all anywhere.
I used the standard RAID drivers for my A7N8X 2 Deluxe

I downloaded the raid drivers from asus for the A8N sli deluxe and copied the folders to a floppy. It has all OSes including xp and 2003 etc. vista said it can't find anything anywhere when i am installing vista. i tell it to look for hard drive device drivers at that point in the install and it can't find any.
What? You copied folders to the floppy? What for? All I did was to extract the six files to the floppy for my situation. The installer can't look inside a folder or a compressed file. You have to have the actual files in the root of floppy.
I see on the Asus web site there are RAID drivers for 2 different chipsets (Promise and Via). Which RAID chipset is in YOUR computer? There are also 32 bit and 64 bit drivers. You have to get the correct drivers.

I downloaded the 64 bit since that's the vista i'll install. I downloaded for the Sil since that is what is on my a8n sli deluxe. the a8n sli deluxe does not have via. only the a8v deluxe does which is in my other pc. on the asus a8n sli deluxe my raid 0 is on the sil not nvidia nforce4 because the nforce sucks big time. on my a8v deluxe it is on the promise. both pcs are amd64 3500+ on the a8v deluxe and the a8n sli deluxe is amdx2 dual core 4200+.
not being able to work looking in folders i guess is the problem as i have no clue about that. so I'll take 64bit drivers and just put them files only on a floppy. not just copy the folders. i had no clue about this.

If you are certain you have the correct download, just extract the few files within the zip file to your floppy. Press F6 when instructed to do so. Then insert the floppy when instructed. Choose (highlight) your adapter.

Thanks for the responses, really appreciate it. I have deleted the file, but can redownload. I do have everything on the floppy so I should be able to just put files only onto a floppy so there's no folders. I hope so.
